TOOLS PROVIDED Job PurposeWelcome to the role of Field Service Technician! As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical maintenance and support for our customers in the field.
You will use your knowledge and skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment, conduct preventive maintenance, and provide customer service.

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair copiers, scanners and multifunctional printers (MFPs) in customer locations2.
Perform regular maintenance and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of all machines3.
Respond quickly to customer calls and requests for service4.
Investigate customer problems and provide the best solution5.
Install and configure new hardware and software as needed6.
Provide on-site training to end users7.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies8.
Document customer information, service calls, and machine history9.
Stay up-to-date with new products and technologiesField Service Technician Preferred Qualifications1.
Ability to provide technical service and support to customers2.
Knowledge of various copier, scanner and MFP models3.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills4.
Ability to diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical and software malfunctions5.
Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams6.
Ability to lift and move copiers and other equipment7.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers8.
Working knowledge of computers and networking9.
Ability to provide user training10.
Good customer service skills11.
Ability to work independently12.
Valid driver's license and clean driving recordPerformance ReviewPerformance will be reviewed on a periodic basis.
An annual performance review will occur discussing historical performance and future planning and strategy.
